“While going through a local drive-thru, I asked the young girl at the counter if I could pay for an extra cappuccino and if she could please give it to the next person that orders one. She gave me a strange look and skeptically put it through the till.
As she took my Kindness Card she asked, “Can I please ask why are you doing this?” I said “It’s called ‘pay it forward.’ You do something nice for a stranger and hope that they then do the same to someone else and so on.”
Her whole face changed. She looked at the card and said, “Wow! You’ve just made my day.”
Seeing her reaction made my day too.”
