“There’s nothing more important on our spiritual path than developing gentleness to oneself.”
Over the last week, I feel like I’ve been getting the same message.
1. Before going to sleep last night, my beautiful Claire shared a passage from a book…
“One way to tell if discipline is connected to virtue is to consider whether if bears a feeling of gentleness.”
2. A magazine arrived in my mailbox with the following quote on the front cover…
“Look in the mirror. Appreciate yourself. Celebrate your capacity for simple acts of generosity and gentleness.” ~ Chogyam Trungpa
3. This morning, a friend passed on the following quote…
“There’s nothing more important on our spiritual path than developing gentleness to oneself.” ~ Pema Chodron
