Thank you Brené Brown

Last week, I had the great privilege of spending time with the delightful Brené Brown. When you hang out with Brené, you feel better about yourself – with all your imperfections, failures and messiness. She is so genuine and real; on and off stage. Most importantly, she is not sharing clichés or quick fixes, but is helping us to understand what it means to be human.

At one point, Brené said “only when we believe that we are enough will we have the courage to be authentic, vulnerable and imperfect. When we don’t accept ourselves, we shape-shift, turn into chameleons and always hustle for the worthiness we already possess.” Thank you Brené for reminding us of our inherent and fundamental goodness – irrespective of what we have accomplished, what we look like, how much we have stuffed up or how little our bank balances might be. You’re a gift to the world!
